Saying Goodby

Today was my final day at work. It was a great job and I'll remember my time at Capital Christian Center with fondness. The above picture was taken on one of my very first Sundays in 2019 before the installation of the new sound system and the mix position moving the the balcony. 

I worked with some great people, made some good friends and I hope to stay in touch during and after my hike. This coming weekend I'll say goodbye to some friends, Eva and I will attend church together, and then we'll drive to Campo, California, the closest town to the border of Mexico where my Pacific Crest Trail hike will begin. I look forward to some time of solitude on the trail as well as making some new friends along the way! As always, thanks for following along!
