I remember the first time I walked into an army surplus store in Southern California and bought my first backpack. It was the early 80's and the occasion was my first backpacking trip with my church Sunday School teacher. Thirty years later I am still obsessed with all things hiking!
Obsessed seems appropriate when I think about how much time, energy, and money I have spent on hiking gear over the years and 2021 is no exception. I have a new backpack, tent, and quilt this year and can't wait to try them out!
